Art & Craft Trial Versions

The trial versions of Art and Craft modules are watermarked full working versions. This means you have the use of all of the great features that are available to the users of full versions, but any printed output will have a watermark. It will not damage the file itself, so if you decide to purchase the full version, all of your designs will subsequently print with no watermark. Trial versions have reduced templates and content packs to make the download a little bit quicker.

Minimum Requirements; Microsoft® Windows Vista or Windows XP, 500 Mhz CPU, 256 MB RAM, 700 MB Free Disk, CD Drive, 1024x768 Display, Broadband Internet Access
Recommended Requirements; 1 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 256 MB Graphics Card, Colour Inkjet Printer

NOTE: You need to be connected to the internet (preferably broadband connection) to open templates, sample documents, digiart, borders etc, as these are not on your computer until you need them. This make the installed size on your computer smaller and makes the download considerably quicker.

Art & Craft Envelopes

Art and Craft Envelopes is the perfect partner for your greeting cards solution module and is free to download for any Art and Craft user, no matter what solution you have.

Great for printing personalised envelopes - just enter the name and address, then print.

For those with a creative streak you can add embellishments and a background, maybe use the same colours and fonts you used with your greeting card, calendar or other solution from our Art and Craft Studio range. Keeping a consistent theme makes a professional looking design.

The easy to use wizard helps you create one single envelope design or you can automatically create a complete set of envelopes from your Art and Craft address book or contacts group.

A selection of predefined envelopes featuring the most popular international sizes for UK, Europe, Australia etc, as well as North American sizes are included.

How do I ... ?

Download - Click on the item you want to download, another page will load, click on on 'Download Now' button. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer you need to click the security bar at the top to allow the download. It will ask if you wish to 'Open' or 'Save'. I would recomend to save it in your Documents folder or in your Downloads folder if you have one. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, just let the download manager save it.

Install - Go to the folder you just saved the file or free template pack in. Double click to install. Follow the instructions.

You can only use free content for those solutions you have got installed. For example if you have Art & Craft T-Shirts installed, but you download and install the Scrapbook Templates, you will not be able to use them in T-shirts, because a t-shirt template pack contains template for t-shirts!

More information - Every time you install a content pack, like the free template packs listed above or the content packs of 'DigiArt' or 'Borders' etc available from the shop, the install also adds the unique pack code and name (eg V-DLC-TP0140 - Greeting Cards 07) into a list that can be found in your Art and Craft Studio software.

To see this list, run Art and Craft Studio, then simply click on the "Help" option on the main menu, followed by "About.." This will bring up the program's "About Box". From here you can see clearly which packs are installed for your copy of Art and Craft Studio.

It is a good idea to check what packs you have installed before purchasing more, so you don't purchase something you already have installed.

File Size & Download Speed - Due to the large size of the trial versions we do recommend that you have a broadband internet connection. The free template packs are much smaller file size and will download much faster. The trial version could take between twenty minutes to couple of hours to download, the smaller template packs could take a few seconds to few minutes to download. It all depends on your internet connection and network load.
